Today’s Telegraph says, “Ten months before the Office for Tax Simplification (OTS) was set up by George Osborne in July 2010, the UK earned the dubious honour of having the world’s longest tax code.From 4,998 pages in 1997, by 2009 Tolley’s Yellow Tax Handbook had more than doubled in length to 11,520 pages spread over four volumes…”
