Google still in tax trouble

 In HMRC Investigation

Google are in the news today thanks to public committee a report about its tax actives.

A large amount of Google’s profits come from paid ads on their sites. So what if we all install an adblock program on our computers that removes ads from sites?

It’s hard to think of ways to boycott Google, it’s not as easy as walking past McDonald’s and buying your food elsewhere, or logging out of Amazon and going to your local bookstore, but what do you think of this idea?

adblockplus.org is a free program you can install to let you do just that. What do you think? Should we start blocking ads on Google pages, and let them know that if they won’t pay tax in the UK, we won’t help them generate profits from us using their sites?
