Penfolds / Cascade update – Kingston Smith now on appeals

My contacts have said that tax umbrella company Cascade, which provides tax efficient remuneration for contractors, consultants, freelancers and Ltd companies is a large and well respected firm. They sold products from Penfolds  that are now under scrutiny from HMRC.  Kingston Smith is now dealing with the appeals and probably the arguments too.

Addendum: TaxHell.co.uk has been contacted by Cascade Management Solutions they made this statement, “Cascade was the billing service for Penfolds and also provided sales and marketing.  The two companies however, had completely separate management and ownership.  Cascade was one of about half a dozen companies providing billing and sales and marketing for Penfolds.  Cascade itself is not under investigation from HMRC.”
